Visit Ghandruk for a piece of heaven

Image Source: Saujan's Instagram I love to travel the Himalayan areas of Nepal. Last month when travelling to Pokhara, one of the incredible cities on planet earth. Suddenly, Ghandruk came into my mind without much delay me along with my brother decided to explore the magnificent beauty of Ghandruk. We started our journey early in the morning from Pokhara with a 55-KM drive on the Pokhara-Baglung highway passing the beautiful towns of Hemaja, Phedi, and Naudanda. First, we reached the Nayapul, the trail goes up a steep slope leading to the suspension bridge over the Modi Khola. After half an hour hiking we reached the beautiful and crowded Bhirethati. At the point of Bhirethati, the path divided into two. The path going west leads to the trail to Ghorepani pass and the right path that we took leads to the Ghandruk. It was amazing moment talking about different topics and listening her great advises. She spends around 45 minutes with us talking about different Youth Issues, US-Nepal Relationship, Education, Civic Engagement Project (CEP) such as econstruction.org and Lunch Box which were fully funded by US Embassy Nepal. Assistant Secretary Ryan was so curious about the youth activities ongoing here in Nepal. She added that youth can really make the shape of a country through their involvement, their brilliant ideas and power are great sources of the changes. So, I strongly recommend everyone in my life to read once. In 2013 Paul Kalanithi was diagnosed with terminal cancer when he was 36 years old. This age is very limited for many of us to make big difference in the world. But, Paul had already made the tremendous contribution in the field of medicine. His research on gene therapy consider as one of the best research in the world and helped him to win the highest research award as well. He was brilliant doctor and scientist.
